New Features in WP Robot

WP Robot is frequently updated and improved! Here you can see an overview of the most important features that have been added recently and are now included with the latest WP Robot version:

Support for Flickr Comments

WP Robot can now also post all comments for an image on Flickr to your own weblog as comment.

RSS Feed Filtering and Media Support

WP Robot 2.1 makes it possible to filter RSS feeds and only post content related to certain keywords. Besides that media support for videos was added.

Added in WP Robot 2.0:

Automatic Link Cloaking

In WP Robot 2.0 you do now have the option to cloak all your outgoing affiliate links to protect your data and improve your search engine rankings.

Amazon BrowseNode Support

By using Amazon BrowseNodes you can let WP Robot post all products in a specific Amazon category. By doing that you can for example create powerful Amazon affiliate niche shopping sites.

Backdating and Scheduling

When bulk creating new blog posts you can now choose to backdate them and start posting at any date of your choice. This allows you to make brand new autoblogs look like they have been around for a long time already!

Humanized Post Times

By adding a random factor to the schedules you set for your keywords the autoblogs WP Robot creates will look much more natural to your visitors as well as search engine spiders.

New Yahoo News Module

Automatically add the latest news on any topic to your weblog with the new Yahoo News Module which is powered by the official Yahoo News API. See here for details.

New RSS Module

The new RSS module can post content from any of the billions of free RSS feeds out there to your weblog on autopilot. See here for more information.

Improved Admin Design

Several improvements to the WP Robot admin area help you keep a clear view and use the plugin more efficiently than ever before.

MIX Feature

As the name suggests the new MIX feature allows you to mix content from different modules with each other. By utilizing that you can for example add related thumbnails from Flickr to the article posts WP Robot creates automatically. Or you can include a related eBay auction below each Yahoo Answers post in order to monetize your blog even better. The possibilities are huge. Currently this feature is offered by the Amazon, eBay, Youtube, Flickr and Clickbank modules.

Improved Youtube Module

WP Robot 1.3 included a completely overhauled Youtube module. Besides being much faster and more reliable the new version also added several new features, like the new "Safe Search" option for family friendly sites and several additional template tags you can use to make your blog look more unique.

Improved Yahoo Answer Module

With version 1.3 the Yahoo Answers module has been converted to using the Yahoo API. The result is a huge speed increase as well as some new options, for example many more languages to choose from!

RSS eBay Auctions

WP Robot 1.2 allows you to create posts containing eBay auction RSS feeds. What that means is: Instead of displaying one set of auctions that expires after a few days your blog posts will now always show the most recent auctions from eBay on the keywords you choose. The result is simple: More money for you. Since your visitors will always find live auctions when visiting your site they are more likely to buy something and thus your CTR and earnings with the eBay affiliate program will increase!

Bulk Add Keywords

The new Bulk Add Keywords page is meant to speed up the time you need to set up a new automatic weblog with WP Robot. It lets you quickly add a large number of keywords and can also assign random posting intervals to them if you want.

More Foreign Language Options

Nearly all modules of WP Robot do now have an option to post content in a wide range of foreign languages to your blog, usually including all the most popular ones like Spanish, German and French. This makes it incredibly easy for you to enter new markets with your websites, without the need to speak one word in another language.

Modules that have this feature are the Amazon module, Article module, eBay module, Yahoo Answers module and the Youtube module.

New Flickr Image Module

The newly released Flickr Image Module allows you to post images related to any topic from the well known Flickr.com website to your weblog. Thus you can now also create popular image blogs with WP Robot, and that's not all: You can also use the Flickr Module to add good looking and related thumbnails to the other posts WP Robot creates. Better Targetting

With WP Robot 1.2 the targetting of several modules has been drastically improved, which means you will now get less unrelated posts for the keywords you choose in WP Robot.
